Thanks for writing this Kieran. Back-end stuff is a black box for me currently.

With front-end, you can render stuff in a browser and can visually see what you’re doing. With back-end, this is obviously not possible since it has to do with the logic of the website/app.

I have a lot of questions about how files are organised, how testing is done, and if Node.js has different methods/techniques available to it than say vanilla JS that I’d love for you to cover in future articles.
